Luxury in Ireland

Since I am half Irish I have always wanted to go to Ireland ~ someday......
For now I can dream ~

Ballyfin - www.ballyfin.com County Laois, Ireland
After eight years of restoration Ballyfin opens this May 2011 as a small country luxury hotel.  5 stars is probably not enough for this pristine property.  You are sure to feel like royalty as you roll in the gates of the exquisite mansion and have your luggage not only brought to your room but unpacked for you~!   Activities abound here at Ballyfin.  You can try your hand at not only fishing, clay shooting and croquet but also archery and falconry!

Lough Erne Resort - www.lougherneresort.com  Enniskillen, Ireland
Set on 600 lush acres this old world heritage meets new world luxury resort features two championship golf courses, one designed by Nick Faldo and an authentic Thai spa!   Accommodations include a variety of options to choose from, lakeside rooms and suites, lodge rooms and you can even rent one of the golf village homes which sleep six people.

Lough Eske Castle, a Solis Hotel and Spa - www.solishotels.com/loughcastle/ Donegal, Ireland
This award winning hotel has so much to offer from it's grand dining room to it's luxuriously appointed guest rooms.  You can't help but feel the history telling it's story surrounding you.  The original castle dates back to the 1400's.  The charming Irish town of Donegal has much to offer the curious traveler.
